Readings for the week of 3 April 2006

Here are a couple readings so far for this week.

CNN: Sen. Obama hits administration's energy policies

Wikipedia: Nikola Tesla

CNN: Professor's overpopulation views stir debate

The title of the last one was quite an understatement/mistatement. The shouting going on as a result of what Prof. Eric Pianka said doesn't constitute intellectual debate. There is way too much truthiness going on in this particular case to be called 'debate'.

We've all seen the math on population growth. If the trend continues, things could get very, very bad.

Oh, and if I forget to say so in class, have a great Spring Break!
